Based at the Old Museum in the centre of town, L’Arche Brecon run a range of work opportunities for people with learning disabilities in the local area.

Rebound Books  is our main workshop enterprise, operating Monday to Friday. Here we upcycle old books and turn them into beautiful journals, diaries and notebooks. In addition to this, we also offer sessional art and craft activities, which vary across the year.

Our Community Garden, situated in a walled garden in Defynnog, is run by local volunteers and members of the workshop. Here we grow our own produce, which is then used in Glasfryn and sold within the wider L’Arche Community.

On Wednesdays we hold a Soup Lunch at the Old Museum, which is open to the local community. The soup is made by members of the workshop using locally grown produce, including vegetables from the Community Garden.

If you would like to support our day activities, please do get in touch. Nigel Harris is our Workshop Leader and is keen to hear from people who would like to be involved.
